Hello, I'm Emma, a warm and collaborative psychotherapist, bereavement counsellor and founder of Counselling for Creatives.
I work mainly (but not exclusively) with creative people. Many work in the arts or creative industries, but I am here for anyone who wants to understand themselves deeply, and to work towards leading a fulfilling and meaningful life.
My purpose is to provide you with a safe and non-judgemental space to explore the specific challenges of your life less ordinary, and to help you thrive on your chosen creative path.
I specialise in helping with:
-
Identity
-
Meaning and purpose
-
Feeling stuck
-
Low self esteem and self worth
-
Imposter syndrome
-
Perfectionism
-
Procrastination
-
Rejection
-
Stress and burnout
I am trained as an integrative and person-centred therapist which simply means, I will listen deeply to what you want and need, we will aim to build a supportive therapeutic relationship together and then collaborate on what approach works best for you. It will be an open and flexible process.
